The Nephilim

This is a novel idea that crowded into my consciousness just before National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) for November, 2010. I had previously been struggling with getting The Unseen going again, but I figured that a project change would kick-start my writing.

I was wrong. First of all, I had no outline to work with. Because of this, I got bogged down about 8,500 words in. And secondly, another big gut-punch from life was delivered early into the month. I love the idea for this novel, though, and I intend to pick it up again–perhaps for NaNoWriMo 2012.

I will post more about this novel idea soon.

About RNAdams2

I write what I call "supernatural suspense"; that is, suspenseful stories involving otherworldly events. I have a lot I could (and will) write about the topic. I could explain what I write as "horror," but I have always believed that an author should have the primary motive of horrifying his readers, which is not the case with me. I could call my writing "supernatural" or "paranormal," but my writing lacks much of the focus on romance/erotica or teenage angst that seems to be prevalent in those genres.
